The carbon forks of the Simplon racing bikes do not need a conventional fork cone on the steering bearing. Instead, the fork on the lower shaft is shaped accordingly. The integrated cone reduces the weight and improves the force absorption of the fork through a more homogeneous fiber flow. This promotes steering stability and directional stability.
