Cross Interference Geometry ensures equal wheel load distribution with different frame sizes. The length of the chainstay increases with larger frames, resulting in almost equal pressure on the front wheel, regardless of whether the size of the frame is S or XL. With conventional geometries, the rear chainstay length always remains the same. This means that riders with large frames get less pressure on the front wheel, which impairs traction.
