  • Monday - Wednesday: Reserved for our consultation packages by appointment
  • Thursday & Friday: Also open for spontaneous visits from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays

We cannot guarantee that every bike will be available at the Experience Center at all times! A test ride with a specific desired bike is only possible with a pre-booked consultation package.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE EXPERIENCE CENTER

THE PRELIMINARY TALK

After your arrival at the Experience Center, we start the preliminary talk over a cup of coffee: What expectations do you have of your new bike? What physical characteristics do you need to consider? In which environment would you like to use the bike? What riding style do you prefer?

Although you can already specify 1-2 preferred models when you book your appointment, it is not uncommon for further perspectives to emerge from the preliminary discussion. This detailed discussion is also crucial in helping you to determine the best configuration for you.

THE FINE TUNING

Now it's time for fine-tuning: For road bikes and trekking bikes, we mainly pay attention to your riding position. For mountain bikes, we also look at the correct suspension settings. In this way, we ensure that your bike offers you maximum riding enjoyment even on long and demanding routes.

THE TEST RIDE

Once the bike is perfectly matched to you, it's time to head out into nature for a test ride under real conditions. Directly at our headquarters in Hard on Lake Constance, the most beautiful routes are waiting to be discovered by you on your dream bike.

FINAL CONFIGURATION AND BIKE PURCHASE

At the end of your consultation appointment, we will use the feedback from your test ride to create a bike configuration that is customized for you. You will receive a unique bike ID from us.

You can use this ID to order your individually configured dream bike from any SIMPLON dealer. This ensures that no matter where you live, there is always a trusted service contact nearby.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT PARKING OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE EXPERIENCE CENTER?

During your stay, you can park your vehicle free of charge in the customer parking lot directly in front of the Experience Center.

ARE THERE SANITARY FACILITIES AT THE EXPERIENCE CENTER?

Toilets are available at the Experience Center during your visit. There are also showers that you can use after your appointment. You can safely store your valuables in one of the lockable lockers for the duration of your stay.

Don't forget: Pack a towel!

WILL I GET THE COST OF THE CONSULTATION REFUNDED IF I BUY A SIMPLON BIKE AFTER THE CONSULTATION?

No, the costs will not be refunded if you buy a bike.

CAN I VISIT THE EXPERIENCE CENTER WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT?

Yes, a visit with a brief consultation is also possible without an appointment during the opening hours mentioned above. However, if you would like detailed advice and a test drive, we recommend making an appointment.

Please note: There are no bikes available for spontaneous test rides or test seating at the Experience Center. It is therefore best to book a consultation appointment in advance to combine your visit with a test ride on the bike of your choice!
