Aerodynamics and ergonomics were central to the development of the PRIDE TRI. Elaborate flow simulations and intensive wind tunnel tests shaped the frame and parts supporting the rider with minimal air resistance. In crosswinds, the excellent sailing effect generates additional propulsive power. The cockpit was developed in cooperation with FSA and offers a wide range of customisation and retrofitting options – ideal for the very individual needs of each rider.

Details

The bike’s ergonomic cockpit can be individually adapted and expanded thanks to numerous adjustment options from the FSA modular system. Disc brakes ensure optimum braking performance in all weather conditions. The Pride TRI by SIMPLON is an absolute must-have for triathletes who want to get the most out of their bike. The optionally retrofittable hydration system by FSA is especially convenient. It ensures sufficient fluid supply during races. Thanks to the bike’s smart trainer compatibility, you can continue your training indoors during the winter months – on the rollers, a turbo trainer or direct drive. Ready for the next triathlon challenge?

Features

The Pride TRI sets new standards in aerodynamics! The carbon frame and all add-on parts were optimised based on air-flow simulations and wind tunnel tests. All cables are routed internally through the frame.

During the development process, special attention was paid to ergonomics. The cockpit, in particular, allows for a sitting position perfectly suited to triathletes.

The frame including the carbon fork is designed for tyres with a width of up to 30 mm. The Pride TRI is brought to a standstill by means of disc brakes (160/140 mm).

Thanks to wind tunnel-optimised components that create minimum air resistance and maximum propulsion, you can optimally benefit from the so-called “sailing effect”.

Technology

The use of innovative technologies makes the SIMPLON Pride TRI the model of choice for ambitious triathletes: The shift and brake cables both in the frame and in the cockpit area are virtually invisible – thanks to Full Internal Cable Routing. This creates a sleek and clean look, and all the cables are protected. Maximum Power Transfer technology ensures optimum stiffness and propulsion.

Thanks to the "rollers-ready" technology, training can easily be moved indoors. The carbon frame can be attached to a turbo trainer or direct drive via the special axle.

Options

With the Pride TRI, you have numerous retrofitting options from the FSA modular system which allows you to adapt the cockpit to your needs and preferences. The innovative hydration system by FSA ensures optimum fluid supply during time trials or triathlons.

Additionally, you can also choose from the following options:

  • Wheels
  • Ergonomic cockpit
  • Crank box
  • Power meter

*STR: The higher the number, the more upright is the seating postion.

**S-REAL, R-REAL, STR-REAL

These stack and reach values are the real measured values of the frame. Due to the special stem geometry and the stem design of the PRIDE TRI compared to road bikes with conventional stems, these values are not comparable with mentioned road bikes.

**S-VIRTUAL, R-VIRTUAL, STR-VIRTUAL

These stack and reach values are calculated values, which allow a comparability to road bikes with conventional stems. These take into account the special stem geometry and design compared to the geometry of conventional road bike stems and headset caps.

Due to the integrated seatpost clamping without the otherwise usual "seat tube stub", be PRIDE TRI the dimension "A" is shorter than the corresponding frame height.
