Michael Strasser

Extreme cyclist and conqueror of continents: After Michael Strasser had crossed the continent of Africa from Cairo to Cape Town as the world's fastest cyclist, the next world record followed shortly afterwards with his ‘Ice 2 Ice’ project: on the 22,642-kilometre route from Alaska to Patagonia, he set a new best time of 84 days, 11 hours and 50 minutes in 2018 - on the then current SIMPLON PRIDE (which is now available as a new version).

He set his third world record on the PAVO in 2024 with his ‘771’ project.

Simon Hiltli

Adventurer, bike skier & alpinist and probably one of the few people who use their bike as a ski lift.

Bike skiing is where ski touring and cycling meet - a combination that sounds both ingenious and slightly crazy. The motto? ‘Earn your turns’, because the powder snow simply tastes even better after a good climb.

In Spring 2025, he traveled through Norway with two friends—on gravel bikes and skis—relying on our GRID. He shared his epic descents on social media—follow along!
