Razorblade 29 III SL | –32 %
With this superlight version of the RAZORBLADE 29, there is no reason to shy away from steep inclines anymore. Uncompromising propulsion and exceptional comfort thanks to the VIBREX® frame technology give the bike the necessary stability for challenging terrain. The carbon hardtail’s great stiffness and its weight – another 250 grams lighter – takes it one step even further. Discover the optimal balance between speed, running smoothness and agility.
The RAZORBLADE 29 III SL is a typical XC machine, and the hardtail also cuts a great figure as a marathon racer. The features: low weight, sporty riding position with a low center of gravity and high-quality components. They take mountain bikers straight to the top in short stage races and on steep uphills.
And for all those who ride a lot off-road on rougher terrain or like to tackle tours with a lot of vertical meters - the lightweight with its carbon frame weighing only around 850 g should be the perfect rolling companion.
By the way: the SL version of the RAZORBLADE is also available in frame size XS - ideal for smaller mountain bike enthusiasts.
Features
- The RAZORBLADE 29 III SL has outstanding propulsion characteristics in its cross-country genes. This is made possible by the double fusion technology and the high-modulus carbon fibers from Toray. This results in a lightweight construction, maximum stiffness and 65 to 85 % more tensile strength.
- The symbiosis of frame and components is the only way to achieve sophisticated lightweight construction on a high-end mountain bike.
- Through mud and sludge without a scratch? No problem for the third generation RAZORBLADE, because stainless steel protectors are attached to the inside of the chainstays. This allows the carbon frame to survive even the toughest cross-country adventures unscathed.
Technology
Technologies that drive you forward. Technologies that offer maximum comfort. Technologies that open up new challenges and horizons - you'll find them in the RAZORBLADE 29 III SL!
Extra-stiff high-profile chainstays with a special fin in the bottom bracket area provide uncompromising propulsion. Power Transfer is the magic word here.
Absolutely chic: the cables routed through the headset. Less weight and no tangled cables are further advantages of the Smart Headset.
The sporty XC race bike also scores points with the Comfort Concept: as you would expect on off-road tracks, the bike optimally absorbs bumps and thus ensures unique riding comfort.
